another work week and a wedding

For those of you following the work drama, you may like to know that i finally talked to my boss about feeling under utilized. The result? Mostly me doubting my boss's sanity, but hopefully there will be progress because of the discussion. Although boss-man wrote a nice reply to my email explaining my feelings, the meeting we had was less than great, as I said, I doubt his sanity sometimes. For those of you hoping to get a mental imaging of how these meetings go while we were talking he would periodically take breaks to check his email or listen to C-Span. To enhance your mental image you should know that he has hair growing on his nose. No, not in his nose, on his nose, like on the top part.

On a much more positive note, one of my friends from school is getting married this weekend, and I am so happy for her! Getting married this soon after graduation is a lot less common around Grinnell, but i think that speaks to how great these two are together. Sadly, I won't be able to go to the wedding since it is far away in Oregon, but I know my thoughts and the thoughts of all of us that can't make it are with them this weekend.
